Enemy of the State

It has become apparently clear that there are those who desire nothing but the demise of our culture and way of life. As I viewed the inaugural of President Bush I was taken back by how vile the protestors were. Some chanted that Bush and Cheney were racist, and anti gay when one has a gay daughter and the other has raised more minorities to senior post in the executive branch than any other president in history. Oh, and it wasn't just the protestors.

The media has bastardized this President and his administration. The continually say that he 'barely' won the election in 2004 when he's the first President since Bush 41 to receive more than 50% of the popular vote. When referring to the 2000 election the media states that 'Gore won the popular vote.' this with a margin of 500 thousand votes. Yet in 2004 with a margin of 3.5 Million votes, the media declares that Bush 'barely won', and 'what about the 48% that didn't vote for Bush?'

They make these comments knowing full well that Clinton won with 43% in '92 and 49% in '96 but that won't slow down the 'tear down America machine'.

Now they are attacking Bush's plan to bring Social Security into the 21st century. They bring up those 'who will slip through the cracks' if the system is fix or adjusted so that the working class could invest a portion of their own money toward their own retirement. They are constantly drawing lines across our country, creating division and strife for the sake of division and strife.

They are the true enemies of the state! They claim freedom of speech as they speak division and subversion to a nation at war. They proclaim party loyalty is more important than national loyalty. They make issues where there are none to insight those in our mist who wish for conspiracies and wrong doing. They infect us with their venom, attack our faith, and bring down our institutions for the sake of political correctness. They tell us not to pray in school, but to hand out condoms. They tell us that to protect traditional marriage between a man and a woman is an attack against gays. They tell us to invest in our own retirement is to take from those who've contributed nothing to theirs.

They live in fear, and then project that fear at us. They are full of hate, and then project their hate towards us. "I have seen the enemy, and the enemy is ourselves". Even terrorist like Osama have tried to appeal this audience because even he can see that America has an element that is working more for his cause than that of America.
